About the brand
Why is your price so much lower?
Because low pricing is our position — and we built the whole company around it.
Most skincare brands chase margin first and formulate around what's left. We did it the other way. We formulated around the chemistry that actually works, then engineered every other cost in the business as low as it can go without compromising the product.
A few specifics:
Locally sourced packaging. Plastics, cartons, paper, droppers — everything sourced from suppliers in Egypt. This keeps costs low and keeps our supply chain stable through currency shifts and geopolitical disruptions that paralyze brands relying on imports.
Honest raw materials. We can't yet source raw actives locally, but we can choose them carefully. We use ingredients with decades of clinical data — vitamin C, glycolic acid, urea, kojic acid, allantoin — at percentages proven to work. We don't use overpriced trend ingredients (PDRN, Centella from Madagascar, Rice extract from Japan) where the marketing budget is bigger than the clinical evidence. Allantoin at 0.2% does the same soothing job as ingredients costing twenty times more. We chose allantoin.
AI-powered cost control. Every spending decision in the business runs through systems that flag where money is best spent and where it isn't. No marketing budget for things that don't move the product. No premium-tier vanity expenses. The savings compound and they go into the formula.
Low price isn't cutting corners. It's the result of cutting everything that isn't the corner that matters.
Do you have a physical store?
Not yet. asmrani is currently online only, with delivery anywhere in Egypt within 1–3 business days. When we add physical retail locations, they will be listed on our Find Us page.
If you're a pharmacy or clinic interested in carrying asmrani, see the B2B section below.
How fresh activation works
What happens if I don't use the product within the recommended time?
For Clarity C15: each mixed vial is intended for one week of use. Used past seven days, the ascorbic acid will have begun to oxidize and you'll be applying a weaker version of the formula. It won't harm your skin, but it won't deliver the results you bought it for. Mix a new vial and discard the old one.
For Liquid Smooth: an activated bottle is intended to be used within 3 months of activation. Used past that window, you may notice reduced effectiveness as the formula slowly destabilizes. The product remains safe; the potency declines.
Both products carry an expiry date printed on the carton, which applies to the unopened product. The activation timelines are separate from that date — they describe how long the formula stays at full strength once mixed.
Do I need to refrigerate the product before or after activating it?
No, not required. Both products are formulated to remain stable at normal Egyptian room temperature — store them below 25°C and away from direct sunlight, which means a closed bathroom cabinet or bedroom drawer rather than a windowsill.
Choosing the right product
I have hyperpigmentation — which product should I start with?
Start with Clarity C15. It's formulated specifically for dark spots, acne scars, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and melasma — 15% ascorbic acid and 1% kojic acid target excess melanin production at the source.
If you also have rough texture or uneven skin alongside the pigmentation, the full pairing — Clarity C15 in the morning, Liquid Smooth at night — works better than either product alone. We've built that pairing as a bundle: The Pigmentation Protocol.
I have rough skin and KP — which product should I start with?
Start with Liquid Smooth. The 10% urea and 4% glycolic acid combination is the most effective approach we know for keratosis pilaris and rough body texture, and it works on the face for post-acne roughness and dullness.
If you also have dark marks left behind by KP or acne, layering Clarity C15 in the morning will fade those marks faster than Liquid Smooth alone — the two work on different parts of the same problem.
How do I know if a product is right for my skin type?
Every product page on this site has two sections: Who it's for and Skip it if. Read both before you order. The honest answer to which product fits your skin lives in those sections, not in general skin-type categories.
"Skin type" is also more flexible than the industry treats it. Most people are a mix — oily on the t-zone, dry on the cheeks, sensitive in patches. We formulate around concerns and conditions, not around the four-types model. If you're unsure whether a product fits your skin, message us on WhatsApp before you order with a short description of your skin and what you're trying to fix. We'll give you a real answer, including telling you if our products aren't the right fit.
Can I use both products together?
Yes — and we'd actively recommend it for anyone dealing with both pigmentation and texture concerns. The pairing is:
Morning: Clarity C15 on clean dry skin, followed by moisturizer and SPF 30 or higher.
Evening: Liquid Smooth on clean dry skin, followed by moisturizer.
Vitamin C protects and fades pigmentation by day; glycolic accelerates the turnover that smooths texture and removes existing dark spots by night. The two products work on different points of the same biological pathway, which is why dermatologists prescribe similar pairings when they have the option.
If you want to buy both, our bundle — The Pigmentation Protocol — saves you versus buying the products separately.
Will 15% vitamin C irritate my skin?
A mild tingle or warmth on application is normal — that's the vitamin C interacting with the surface of your skin. It should fade within a minute or two and is not a sign of damage.
Persistent stinging, burning, itching, or visible redness is not normal at 15%. If that happens, your skin is telling you to slow down. Reduce frequency to every other night or every third night for the first two weeks, then build up gradually if your skin tolerates it. Always apply to fully dry skin — damp skin increases penetration and can amplify irritation.
If you have very sensitive skin, patch test on your inner forearm for three nights before applying to your face. If you have actively diagnosed conditions like rosacea or eczema, consult your dermatologist before starting.
Can I use asmrani products if I have sensitive skin?
Possibly, with care. Both products contain meaningful percentages of active ingredients (15% ascorbic acid and 1% kojic acid in Clarity C15; 4% glycolic acid and 10% urea in Liquid Smooth), and very sensitive skin may not tolerate either at recommended frequency.
If you have sensitive skin and want to try our products, do this: patch test first on your inner forearm for three nights before applying to your face. Start at half the recommended frequency — twice a week rather than every other night — and build up only if your skin tolerates it well over two weeks. Stop immediately if you experience persistent stinging, redness, burning, or visible irritation beyond a brief tingle at application.
If you have actively diagnosed skin conditions like eczema, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis, consult your dermatologist before starting any new active. Our products are formulated for general skin concerns, not for treating diagnosed conditions.
Can I use asmrani products if I'm currently using prescription skincare?
Don't add our products on top of prescription skincare without checking with your dermatologist first. Specifically:
If you're using prescription tretinoin, it's already doing similar turnover work to glycolic acid. Adding Liquid Smooth on top will likely over-treat the skin.
If you're using prescription hydroquinone for melasma, it's already inhibiting melanin at a stronger level than our Clarity C15. Layering the two isn't more effective — it's more irritating.
If you're using prescription antibiotics or retinoids for acne, finish the course first. Adding actives during active acne treatment complicates the dermatologist's protocol and makes it harder to tell what's helping.
Your prescription protocol was designed by a doctor for your specific skin. Don't undermine it. Once you finish the prescription course, asmrani can become part of your maintenance routine — that's what these products are well-suited for.
Can I use these products if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
The actives in our products are generally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding at the percentages we use — vitamin C, kojic acid, alpha arbutin, glycolic acid at 4%, urea, panthenol. None of these are on the avoid list for most obstetricians.
That said, two important caveats:
First, we are a skincare company, not your doctor. Always confirm with your obstetrician or dermatologist before starting any new product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. They know your specific medical situation; we don't.
Second, skin sensitivity changes significantly during pregnancy. Even products you tolerated before may suddenly cause irritation. Patch test first, even if you've used similar ingredients in the past, and stop using anything that causes a reaction.
Orders, shipping, and returns
Do you ship outside Egypt?
Not yet. We currently ship anywhere in Egypt within 1–3 business days. International shipping is on our roadmap but not active today.
If you're outside Egypt and want to be notified when international shipping opens to your country, email us at contact@asmrani.com with your country in the subject line.
Can I return a product?
No — not for change-of-mind reasons. Once an asmrani product is purchased, it cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. This is a hygiene standard, not a hard line: personal care products that leave our warehouse cannot be safely resold, and we'd rather price honestly than build the cost of returned inventory into every order.
The exception is defective products — see the next question.
If you're not sure whether a product is right for your skin, message us on WhatsApp before you order rather than after. We'll answer honestly, including telling you if it's not the right fit.
What if my product arrives damaged or defective?
We'll replace it at no cost. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@asmrani.com, on Instagram, or via WhatsApp with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the issue
- A short description of what's wrong
We'll respond within one business day and arrange a replacement. You will not be asked to ship the defective product back at your expense.
Defective includes: visible damage to the outer carton beyond minor courier handling; leaks or broken seals; expired or near-expiry product (less than three months remaining); manufacturing defects like missing components or wrong fill; or receiving the wrong product entirely.
Your rights under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181/2018) are fully preserved regardless of this policy.
B2B and partnerships
Do you sell wholesale or to retailers?
Yes. Contact us at contact@asmrani.com with B2B in the subject line. Include your business name, location, and the type of retail (pharmacy, beauty store, online platform, etc.). We'll respond with our wholesale terms, minimum order quantities, and the relevant documentation.
Can my pharmacy or clinic carry asmrani?
Yes. We work with pharmacies, dermatology clinics, and aesthetic practices that share our approach to skincare — meaningful actives at honest percentages, recommended to patients based on what their skin actually needs rather than what carries the highest margin.
Contact us at contact@asmrani.com with B2B in the subject line. Include your business name, location, and a brief description of your practice. We'll respond with terms and any documentation we may need to verify the business.
Do you offer dermatologist or aesthetician partnerships?
Yes. We work with practicing dermatologists and licensed aestheticians on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the practice, this can include preferred pricing for in-clinic stock, professional sample programs, or co-branded patient recommendations for specific concerns we formulate around.
If you're a practicing professional interested in partnering, contact us at contact@asmrani.com with B2B in the subject line and a short description of your practice. We'll follow up with the relevant program details. We don't offer paid deals — partnerships are built around clinical fit, not promotion.
